Focus Industrial was founded in Blacktown by Graham Bulloch, trading as Industrial Air Tools & Sealex, selling and repairing pneumatic tools out of Western Sydney. But it didn’t take long to see that the tools were only part of the story.
Behind every workshop running on compressed air was a system. And when that system underperformed, everything stopped at real cost.

That shift in thinking from fixing tools to engineering the infrastructure behind them became the foundation on which the next fifty years were built.

By 1999, the business had outgrown its original Blacktown premises. The move to Jamisontown was not only a change of address, but it was also a signal of where the industry was heading and what Focus Industrial needed to become.
The new warehouse gave us the capacity to launch our own compressor line at the same time as rotary screw technology was shifting in the industry to become more and more cost-effective for the average workshop.

Behind that footprint is a 24/7 same-day breakdown callout service and a dedicated team of technicians who keep operations running across food packaging, timber processing, mining, recycling, and virtually every form of manufacturing.
We developed our own mounted packages combining the compressor, air receiver tanks, dryers, and filters in a single footprint. Our practical approach to floor space constraints takes into consideration the cost of best-used square footage in small to large workshops, allowing for space to evolve and expand with the operational growth of a business.
