Recently Focus Industrial completed a new smart factory turnkey compressed air installation at a new lighting manufacturer Novon Lighting in Glendenning, Sydney, New South Wales.

This client engaged Focus Industrial to design a premium compressed air system to run a new smart factory. The client was relocating and setting up a state of the art facility to bring all their manufacturing back from overseas to Australia again to support Australian Manufacturing.

The installation included installing in excess of 300 metres of 54mm Surepress stainless steel press crimp piping reducing to 28mm reducing branch lines. Each fitted off the equipment connections or terminated with quick connect fittings.

This smart factory was fitted with some of the most advanced engineering equipment seen in Australia today including:

• Bystronic Robotic brake press
• MSS Nitrocube nitrogen generator
• Continuous loop powder coating line
• Bystronic Robot sheet storage system

• Assembly benches

The installation was completed on budget and before time. Novon Lighting now has a very efficient compressed air system with a 25 year leak free guarantee on the Surepress piping system and high efficiency VSD Screw compressors. Novon lighting is operating their manufacturing facility with a low carbon footprint reducing their CO2 emissions.
