To power their new DNE 12kW Fiber laser cutting machine by 360 Automation in Melbourne, a Dandenong-based manufacturer required a reliable, cost-effective high-pressure solution. We installed a 16 bar fixed speed 15kw screw compressor package, complete with a high pressure Focus refrigerated dryer and high pressure Focus inline filtration package, allowing them to replace their costly nitrogen bottle packs with compressed air, resulting in a massive 80% cutting cost reduction! This setup also ensures their laser system operates with clean, consistent air, essential for precise cutting and increased efficiency. This customer is able to get a very clean cut with up to 16mm aluminium sheet, or 12mm mild steel plate and even cutting 10mm stainless steel sheet using compressed air.
