Maspro Engineering specialises in manufacturing precision parts for the Australian mining industry, operating across three locations throughout NSW. Over 12 years, Maspro has been one of Focus Industrial’s most trusted long-term customers, a partnership built on scheduled servicing, system upgrades, and a shared commitment to keeping production running without interruption. As Maspro’s business has grown, their compressed air infrastructure has grown with it.

Their Condobolin facility previously ran two 40 HP Focus compressors to power the first stage of their warehouse operations. With a major expansion underway and significantly heavier machinery demands on the horizon, Maspro needed a compressed air solution capable of supporting the next chapter of their operation, and they turned to the team that has been supporting them for over a decade to deliver it.

To meet this, Focus Industrial supplied and installed an FC1000V Variable Speed Drive Screw Compressor, capable of up to 100 HP at variable output, ensuring the system only draws the power it needs to reduce energy costs as the facility scales. The compressor is paired with a refrigerated dryer and two air receiver tanks, providing both capacity and redundancy for uninterrupted production.

Powering demanding equipment including a DMG Mori CNC machine and precision air spindles, the system needed to deliver consistently clean, dry air. To achieve this, the installation includes a two-stage pre and post-filtration system, two automatic tank drains, a water-oil separator, and aluminium compressed air piping throughout the facility. The water-oil separator ensures that any moisture purged from the system is treated before disposal, removing oil contaminants that would otherwise be illegal to discharge.

With their existing compressors still running the original warehouse and the new FC1000V powering the expansion, Maspro now has complete, scalable compressed air infrastructure built for the demands of modern mining component manufacturing. It is the latest chapter in a 12-year partnership and a system designed to support whatever comes next.
