Timber Joinery
The Joinery Haus
Compressed air quietly powers nearly every machine in a timber joinery, and a properly engineered installation and adequately sized machine make all the difference. From CNC machines to air tools across workstations, compressed air is an essential utility for these workshops.
For our recent installation at The Joinery Haus, a thorough system fit-out was required, including a new machine, airlines, and outlets. After consulting with them about their workshop layout, current needs, and future expectations, we engineered a compressed air system that will serve them for years to come.
Like most woodworking and joinery operations, their workshop relies on compressed air for a mix of jobs: driving the CNC machine, panel saw, and edge bander while also running auxiliary tools such as nail guns, blow guns, and drills. Supplying reliable air to all of these at once, without pressure drop-offs slowing down the workshop, takes more than just a capable compressor. It’s about how the whole system is engineered.
Our team installed a fixed-speed FC100-30D compressor with a 25mm poly piping system, running to four outlets positioned around the workshop: two feeding machinery, and two set up at the work assembly benches. This layout allows the team to run both CNC and large machines as well as hand assembly tools without losing air pressure or experiencing downtime.
The result is a compressed air system built around how Joinery Haus’s workshop actually runs: reliable, properly sized, and ready to support the business as it grows. This is the considered, engineered approach we bring to every installation we take on.
