Jervis Bay Construction Facility
Focus Industrial recently completed a customised compressed air installation for a construction facility in Jervis Bay, NSW. The project included the installation of an FC100-30D Fixed Speed Screw Compressor and a 32mm poly compressed air piping system designed to meet the specific needs of the new factory.
The FC100-30D is a reliable and efficient fixed-speed compressor featuring a 7.5kW motor, 300-litre tank, and flow rates of up to 37 CFM with pressure options of 8, 10, or 13 Bar. Its low noise level of just 62 decibels makes it a perfect fit for indoor industrial settings.
To complement the compressor, Focus Industrial installed a 32mm poly piping system that runs from the compressor at the rear of the factory. The system includes 10 strategically placed outlets: six along the internal walls and four suspended from the roof to support key equipment like CNC and Edgebander machines.
The installation process was streamlined and efficient. Focus Industrial supplied and operated a scissor lift for high-level work and conducted pressure testing and commissioning to ensure optimal system performance. The entire project, including travel and labour, was completed within a single day to minimise disruption to the client’s operations.
This installation provides the construction facility with a robust and energy-efficient compressed air system designed to enhance productivity and accommodate future growth.
